Brian Mackay, CBCP, FBCI, CHS-III
President

Photo Brian L. Mackay CBCP, FBCI, CHS-III, Brian Mackay is currently employed as the Senior Business Continuity Analyst for Siemens Medical Solutions in Malvern, PA.  Siemens Medical Solutions of Siemens AG (NYSE: SI) with headquarters in Malvern, Pennsylvania and Erlangen, Germany, is one of the largest suppliers to the healthcare industry in the world.

Brian has been active in the Business Continuity field since 1992, and is considered a leading authority on Business Continuity Management with extensive hands on experience in both public and private sector in Emergency Response Procedures, Crisis Management Plans, Facility Risk Management and Business Continuity Restoration Procedures.   

In addition to currently holding a Level Three Certification in Homeland Security (CHS-III), Brian is also a named Fellow in the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI), and has been designated a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) by the Disaster Recovery Institute International. He currently is finishing his term as Treasure of the BCI-USA Chapter, and also is a member of the editorial board for the Business Continuity Journal, and currently sits on the advisory panel of the International Continuity Oversight Board. 

Brian is also a veteran of several significant disasters, including being the Incident Manager for a leading electronic commerce company responding to Hurricane Allison in Houston Texas in 2001, where he coordinated the recovery of a major customer call center. Brian was also recognized for his efforts during the initial on-site response as a volunteer during the events of September 11th, 2001 in New York City. Brian was also recognized for his part in being part of the Siemens Response Teams responding to hurricanes Rita and Katrina.

Prior to relocating to Chester County, PA, Brian was a member of the Phoenix, AZ ACP, and was also a charter member of the Chandler Arizona CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams) program. Brian is currently an active member of the CHS Homeland Security Preparation and Response Team and actively participates in multiple private and public sector emergency management and disaster recovery programs, where he has held various offices and leadership positions. He is also an active member of the SEPA VOAD sponsored by the Red Cross.

Brian has published and presented extensively on Business Continuity topics, both locally and internationally over the past several years and currently specializes in Emergency Response Procedures and Risk Management Procedures. He is also the past owner and President of the consulting company BCPLanning.net.

Linda Farrington

PhotoLinda Farrington has been an Account Executive with Vital Records, Inc.(VRI) since 1999. As Account Executive, Linda assists Data Center Customers in planning and executing best practices for their Off-Site Data Protection Program for a successful recovery in the event of an Actual Disaster. Linda has over 13 years experience in Off-Site Data Protection Services often working with regional BCP Planners and Hot Sites. Linda is a founding member of ACP Liberty Valley and served as the first Membership Director. She has also served as Secretary of AFCOM Midlantic, and was a Board Member of DVRIEG (BRACE). Linda is also a member of INFRAGARD- Philadelphia.

Frank Leonetti, CBCP, MBCI
Treasurer

PhotoFrank Leonetti, CBCP/MBCI, is the Practice Manager for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery of Sun Professional Services. He has been with Sun/StorageTek for the past 5 years and has been in the overall IT business for the past 21 years. He is a Certified Business Continuity Professional through the Disaster Recovery Institute and a Member of Business Continuity International.

Frank has been a featured and keynote speaker at several national conferences including: DRJ, DRIE, CPM, CIO Forum, InfoWorld, Marcus Evans BC/Security Conference, Continuity Insights and several ACP events.  Mr. Leonetti is a Board Officer of the Liberty Valley Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners, an advisory board member of the New Jersey Technology Council and the Co-Chair of the CCC Foundation Board.  Frank has published several articles for CIO Magazine, BC Management and written a several white papers including: “Linking disaster recovery time objectives to business and compliance requirements” and “Building the Internal Business Case for Sr. Level Management Support of DR Budgeting”.

Leo Clugh, CBCP
Director, Information

photoLeo Clugh, is currently employed by IDC Partners as a Senior Business Continuity Consultant in the Business Continuity Practice and supplementing the IT Infrastructure Practice as a Senior Technical Consultant for forensic recovery of IT environments. Leo has over 30 years of IT infrastructure experience with 10 of those years working also in Business Continuity Planning. Most of Leo's work experience was gained within Siemens Technical Services Group where he was employed for 20 plus years as a Regional Support Specialist providing technical support (Tier 1, 2 and 3) along with responsibilities within their consulting services division for development of a Business Continuity Practice for Siemens in the US. He has been designated a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) by the Disaster Recovery Institute International.

Leo has been a member of the Liberty Valley Chapter of the Association for Contingency Planners since 2005, SEPA VOAD volunteer (Southeastern Pennsylvania Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters), and a member of the Philadelphia InfraGard chapter. He is currently serving his third term on the Board as Information Director.

Janice Shields, ABCP
Director, Membership

photoJanice Shields, Janice is currently employed by The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Business Continuity Analyst with over 18 years of IT experience with 4 of those years working in Business Continuity Planning.

She has been an active member of the Liberty Valley Chapter of the Association for Contingency Planners since 2005, a volunteer with SEPA VOAD (Southeastern Pennsylvania Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters) as well as a member of BCPWHO (Business Continuity Planning Workgroup for Healthcare Organizations). She has been designated an Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) by the Disaster Recovery Institute International.

She is currently pursuing her CBCP business continuity certification through DRII.

Rashon Moore
Director, Programs

Rashon Moore is currently employed as a Security Department Specialist for Baxter Healthcare, Inc. He has been with Baxter since 2003. In his new role at Baxter, Rashon is responsible for the development of the facilities Business Continuity Management Program. This responsibility originated from his support role in the execution of the facilities Pandemic Preparedness initiative and the progression of the facilities Security Master Plan.

Additionally, Rashon serves as the Security Departments Lead Training officer and supports the development and application of the Department’s Training Program.

Rashon has been a member of ACP Liberty Valley chapter since 2008 and is currently pursuing his business continuity certification through DRI.

Patrick McGranaghan
Director, Public Relations

Patrick E. McGranaghan, Manager of Business Continuity for Comcast Corporation, is responsible for facilitating and guiding company wide efforts to recover its mission critical systems, applications, and business functions in a timely manner in the event of a serious technology or business disruption. From 2003-2006, McGranaghan served as the Corporate Administration Coordinator, with responsibility for assisting the Vice President with a variety of corporate administrative responsibilities, including facilities, real estate, corporate services, security, aviation, travel and diversity. From 2001 to 2003, McGranaghan served as the Corporate Communications Coordinator, with responsibility for building a corporate communications infrastructure and assisting the entire family of Comcast companies with delivering a unified message to a variety of audiences
